11th International Symposium on Avian Influenza

The 11th International Symposium on Avian Influenza will take place from 24-26 June 2025 in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. 

The Agreement on the Conservation of Albatross and Petrels (ACAP) welcomes the 11th International Symposium on Avian Influenza. Outputs from this symposium will be a valuable resource for our Parties, Advisory Committee and Working Groups to understand the nature and impacts of High Pathogenicity Avian Influenza on wildlife populations, and to help determine the management actions that could reduce future risks to ACAP species.

The Agreement on the
Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels

ACAP is a multilateral agreement which seeks to conserve listed albatrosses, petrels and shearwaters by coordinating international activity to mitigate known threats to their populations.
